Eggcrate foam

I just got some eggrate foam from a fatory for free. I want to install it into my recording booth. Someone told me not to fill the booth with it cause it will be to dry to record vocals with. Can someone help me with wether i should fill the booth or tile it??

well the pro sound proofing isnt exactly cheap..if thas all u can get ur hands on right now better than nothin..if u tile it ull get a ugly reverb that ur not gonna be pleased with

You cant have a booth too dry imo, you dont want ANY sound but the voice, if I could record in a vacuum I would.
All fx are to be added later. I have auralex foam and I am planning on building some bass traps in the near future..Aas soon as you can get some profoam for your booth.
