EQ overall question?

hows it!!can you help with ??just wondering if your supose to set eqs tuned on outboard mixer {which carries on signal to spkrs}or do you create your beat with eqs tuned to how you like it in eg...reason software.. with eqs on outboard mixer at unity gain....do you know what i mean?thanx!!! or vice versa

Im a lil confused by how you wrote your question...but I eq in reason or cubase if im turning up lows or cutting highs or anything like that.

i think i know what ya mean...

i always make my beats with the eq ready from the start, the high and low end both amped and the mid slightly lowered...

then i mix finally @ the end...

i eq the complete trak all on my board no outside touch ups.
i do this cuz i dont hav a seperate line in 4 every coming sound out
i prefer 2 eq each trak individually then the whole mix being eq'd
