favorite drinking game?

Holmzini's post got me on the topic of drinking, so lets elaborate.

everybody's got a favorite drinking game, right? so whats yours. or maybe your favorite game is "lie on the couch and drink til the potted plant in the corner looks like a pretty lady in a pink dress."

of course theres the obvious like beer pong and flip cup. but does anyone have any more exotic games? i'd be interested to hear a few new ones.

flip cups a great one cuz you can get teams going and it gets all competitive, but its friendly drunken competition.

Drunk Driver (Card Game)

Make a pyramid with 5 rows witrh the cards face down.

Row1 = 1 Card
Row2 = 2 Cards
Row3 = 3 Cards
Row4 = 4 Cards
Row5 = 5 Cards

Flip a card over on the 5th row. If it is lower that a 10, move to the next row up and flip another card. If it is lower than a 10, move to the next row. As soo as you hit a 10 card or a face card like a Jack or Queen or something, You have to take a shot of something you are drinking and start the whole process over.

But instead of the cards being redealt, the dealer just covers your choices up with new cards to keep the pace going pretty quick. The goal is to make it all the way to the top of the pyramid. It's funny because right when you get to the top and you think you are out, you flip the last card over at the top and it turns out to be a face card so you have to start over.

Some people do it in two or three tries, but the avevrage is like 20 tries so I usually do swigs of a beer or something becuase if you "crash" 10 times and you are doing shots, you can get really smashed way too fast.

drunk driver is one of the BEST drinking games ever...

another good one is circle of death

take all the face cards and 10's out of the deck. shuffle and arrange them face down in a big circle.

each person takes a turn flipping one card over.

if a 10 is flipped its called a social - everyone take a drink

if a jack is flipped the person who flipped it names a category, i.e. shoes- then everyone goes around naming brands of shoes...whoever messes up and cant name one takes a drink

queen is rhyme. person comes up with a line, next person has to rhyme something to it, etc. etc. till someone messes up...then takes a drink

a king is a rule. person comes up with a rule <i.e. no first names> then whoever messes up during the duration of the game takes a drink for every screw up.

and finally an ace is a waterfall...card flipper begins drinking his/her beverage, the persone next to them must then start drinking their beverage and cannot stop until the persone before them stops...etc, etc, going all around the circle..

it seems like a lot of stuff to remember, but once u get the hang of it, its really fun...


oh yeah, there's also power hour...i've gotten into a lot of trouble with that one...

I know a ton but an easy one to learn is drunk jack. Its the same idea as blackjack but the losers have to drink the difference in numbers. For example if someone wins with a hand of 18 and the other person busts with 22 the loser drinks the difference. i.e. 22-18= 4 drinks.

sweet. i've never heard of circle of death. sounds fun. social drinking games seem to be more hilarious because you have like, 10 drunk people instead of just 3.

there is this board game calles passout: my homie blessed us with it... it is the funniest game ever... and it gets u fuced up bigtime... it like monopoly...they have dice, cards, jail , everthing ...its funny as hell

DUDE! I HAVE THAT GAME! haha. up at my grandparents house in Maine they have that game. I think its kinda older, but thats funny. i never thought i'd ever see anybody with it. haha.

Oh, for everyone who may not know flip cup, here's the rules.


It's real easy:
1. Procure alcohol
2. Get 2 teams. 5 ppl works well, but 7 or 10 makes it even more fun
3. Buy plastic cups
4. get out a card table or some other table.

heres the rules:

each team lines up on one side of the table.
you start at one end of the table, and when someone says go, the first person on each team drinks their alcohol, usually just like a half a cup to make it faster paced. then you place it on the table after you drink with right side up and with the bottom poking off, then you have to flip it with your finger so it lands upsidedown on the table. once you have done this, the next person goes, and does the same thing. the first team for everyone to do it wins.

now heres the elimination process.

everyone just votes on the worst and best player on the team, based on how much time they took. then the worst person is removed, and the best person has to take over the losers cup so he is now doing 2 drinks, and 2 flips . now start again and continue the process. its fun and competitive.
