Does any body think a focusrite voice master pre amp and a blue bird mic is a good combo to record rap. I'm looking for something that will give me a clean warm tone. And will go good with someone a a kinda high voice and someone with a deeper voice too. I wanted to get an avalon 737 and a rode ntk, but it was way to expensive, and i thought this combo would be a good alternative. Anybody that knows about these two products, please give me some info.

I've never used the Blue Bird mic, But I hear it was pretty nice. I do use the Voice master pro and I love it. It'll work for everything you described and more. I think this combo is cool. You should also check out the other RODE mics the NT1, NT1000, NT2000. They are all solid mics.
