What technics in reason 4.0 allow you to get your shit grimy sounding?

Scream has a few settings on it that can help... tape distortion is one to get a more warmer feel going on... the next is that digital setting... spin the nobs a bit and you can get that bit crushed sound. The next step would be to use gritty sounds in the first place.

Thanks, I ripped up a instrumental track from the 70's but it was pretty clean sounding. I just wanted to dirty it up a little. I don't know. I want to make 2 versions and see what I like.

FIRST YOU GOTTA BE GRIMY AT HEART...THEN IT WILL REFLECT THRU YOUR MUSIC....YOUNG GRASSHOPPER. NAW JUST LOOK FOR GRITTY SOUNDING SAMPLES AND SAMPLE YOUR DRUMS OFF OF OLD ALBUMS OR OLD BREAKBEATS. BREAKBEATS HAVE GRITTY SOUNDING DRUMS...YEAH!
