I can vouch for that. I was with Pug yesterday, we had to fight off a Polar bear that was trying to kill our moose! It was so intense but we managed to scare him off with our powder rifles.

That day corresponds with the creation of the British North America Act that was effective July 1st 1867. That holiday was established in 1879 and was previously called Dominion Day.

There is also The Quebec's Moving Day on July 1st... that's what I celebrated...
