This book called Making Beats ....before yall say "i dont need to read a book about making beats and ur wack for reading one about how to.." It aint a "How to" book. Its this book wriiten by this guy from seattle about the History of Hip hop production. It interveiws early/mid ninties producers like Diamond D, Negus, and Hiero's producer Domino. Also goes into why producers make beats, dig, and other related things...Unfortunatly it is very very pro sample-based production and does not really touch on synth based producers at all,but none the less it is a very interested read.....Just wondering if i am the only one that has checked it out?

Nah, but I think i will. Don't worry about people thinkin that's wack man, shit I read some basic ass shit just to make sure I can get every detail in this production shit... I have learned from veteran producers to do stuff like that. It's always good to refresh your mind because you would be surprised at how much the little basic things matter.. But yea, I'm gunna go dig that up and check it out...
