yo, I need to get some headphones bith for producing and for DJing. Does anyone know whether I'd be best to get one set of headphones for both or two set of headphones for each?

AKG K171 are pretty standard cannot go wrong with them.... my headphone setup is a pair of pro-luxe headphones a pair of akg k271s and 2 pairs of extreme isolation headphones (the best for recording)

sorry N.U.G i got your pm about headphones but i was hoping id speak to you on msn and we could discuss it on there.

anyway, if you got $275, i would highly recommend you get Sennheiser HD 25 from the same place i got mine. youd be saving $325.

i actually had to get them to do a price beat, in the end i got them for $211 including shipping. i think the place i got them to match was called the Twister Group.

i highly recommend the sennheisers that mr messenger mentioned. i find them very responsive in a club situation and give a nice sound in the studio - obviously i would avoid doing mixdowns on them, but they are a quality headphone.
