im fuckin with kontakt 2 and cant for the life of me work out how to get indivudual envelopes and whatnot for each sample i map in the mapper. say i have 5 pieces of a chopped sample in one instrument, how the fuck do i get individual paremeters for each piece. all i can work out how to do is find the global parameters which effect every sample in the instrument.

help

you have to switch the editing from global to individual (i don't think those are the correct terms but i haven't used kontakt for a while it ate shit on my computer damn challenge response !!)
i'm sure someone else will be able to tell you the exact terms

i worked it out. you specify each slice as a single group and then turn off the edit all switch. major head fuck if you ask me.

yeh.... but on the left hand if you switch from browser to edit mode (i think it is) it is much quicker and easier.... i myself find kontakt really good interface wise but i am used to it

oh word? ok ill havre to check for the switch your talking about.

my only other complain is how you have to scroll down a huge rack just to get to your parameteres. is there any way to reformat the rack so your most commoonly used parameteres are at the top or something?
