how to write an contract

(this may be a stupid question but its something i realy needed to know) Ok i am just geting started, me and my friend are trying to get out there and i want to get my company started and sign him so how should i write my contract cause i don't want to give him some beats and ect. then he screws me over and takes my stuff. So should i get a lawyer to write it or what?

please help i am in the learning process right know i am trying to get all the knowlege i can get befor i get started. so if i am talking to someone big i will know what i am talking about and i won't sound stupid when i am talking to them.

Of course it wouldn't hurt to get a lawyer to do it up, but I think any contract that is signed (whether it's you that made it, or a lawyer), will have the same effect. Check this link that was in another thread:
