Alright, as some of you know...when i first came to this forum i was like "Who has a sp303 and how do you use it"

No one really answered me, they just said madlib uses it, or use it for effects.

So im like alright cool.

2 years go by.

And this morning, im thinking, wow this thing would be dope if there was a "midi" out on it.
Thinking to myself how much extra machinery would it have taken them just to do that.

Anyway - so im like...WTF is gonna use the midi in ANYWAY ?

Then it hit me...Midi In -

Now no im not gonna use my keyboard or MPD to control it..directly...

Imma use FRUITY LOOPS.

Yeah - Set Up Midi Channels - to do drum sequences in FL.
Since FL has Velocity and Volume Strips...its perfect.
And triggering the samples/slices will be alot easier = for me anyway freedom to do what my hands cant. And just set the audio to record into cool edit or live.

Especially for that raunchy sound everyone on the underground

Really though, I don't know why some of these machines don't have MIDI Thru! 1 extra plug. It's like some DJ mixers from way back, they had the headphone input right in the middle of the 2 up faders LOL. Anyway.

yeah very .....odd.

JUST midi in on a sampler with pads.

I was considering on upgrading it to the sp606 one day.
