I have Reason and Acid...would mpc1000 hurt or fumble my production ?

I was thinking of some hardware..aside from Sound mods like the XV series which i will invest in as well..do you guys think a mpc would help or hurt ? I can sample loops and such in Reason and Recycle..and i got a midi controller.

But i hear this mpc has a GOOD feel...portable....and is good as someone told me" if you want people to take you serious."

aside from the hype..what is th ebenefits of one in a pc setup ?

I was thinking of mpd 16...but i might as well get the machine..so i can take it with me ?

Umm i am gonna get a lap top..but not until later.....liek a year or 2

anyway let me know if the mpc is worth the hype...

btw i make hip hop and r&B...and i CAN sample

the 1k isnt bad at all ,akai still has a few bugs to work out of the os,nuthing that would screw up your production
