I'm about to buy a new soundcard in about a month, and i need some help choosing on that's right for me.

I'm going to be using a mpc 2000xl, a turntable, a microphone preamp, and possibly some keyboards. So i need about 6 ins.

as far as outputs 2 is fine.

I'm looking for firewire or pci but not usb.

My pc specs are p4 3.0 with a gigabyte of ram.

could you guys suggest some soundcards, that wil work for what i'm trying to do.

delta 66... or 1010... 66 has 6 I/O's... 1010 has 10... or if you could swing it, you could get a say $70 mixer and a MBox... some have said they aren't happy with the quality, but I don't have any problems with it...

If you're running Pentium P4 3gHz then (as always) go Emu, 1212M with Audio dock, it has all you want n need. I dont know which keys n stuff you have specificly but that shouldn't matter. Quality wise there hardly any competition, PT converters, pristine sound at 120db SNR (so you can play/record as loud as possible in and out the card! This will boost dynamics when manualy recording into the mpc and your mic can be recorded very loud to get the best rendement out of your mic).

24 bit/192kHz.... n cheap as fug

i looked at those around the net, and alot of people said they had lots of driver issues.

No, not drivers issues, noob issues hehe. Its recommended to use intel only hardware with emu cards. Other than that it has problems with the powerfx but I aint to bothered bout them fx when you gots lots of other vsts ( just throw in 2Gb or ram and you`re fine).

It might seem important to some cats, but that aint the reason you should buy the card, the hardware specs and result from the output are whats makes Emu attractive... and the price.
