I bought an Evolution U-33e Control Surface and a Korg K25 Midi Controller and I can't get these mofo's to work correctly. I went through the tutorials and every youtube video related but Im still stuck. If I can't get these joints going, Im taking them back soon, ish is driving me crazy. I also checked Manji's thread, the links that sygma posted are too informative. I dont need information, I need instructions and I cant find any on the net.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my frist question would be if the 2 came with software, did you install the sofware correctly and second I would suggest checking your midi controls.

The uc-33e did but Windows Vista has the driver for it and suggested to just plug and play. the Korg didnt but Windows has the driver for it also. So to answer your question I didnt manually install either, just plugged them up. This whole Vista thing pretty much has me stumped, everything in the lab is either XP or OSX so Im good with them but these two pieces are at my home and thats where I have Vista. I pretty much need a step by step starting from midi settings in FL.

I'm pretty sure you can only use one MIDI device at a time with FL.

thats true, but there is a flipside to it, I have a korgpadkontrol and a axiom midi, I have my padkontrol hook up as my main controller via usb and my axion is pluged into my korg via midi cable and works as a seperate contoller so basiclly its 2 controllers for the price of 1. I ran into that same problem as daclion is running into and what I did was manually installed the drivers with the software disc that came with the controllers but only difference is I dont use vista. unfortunately i'm at work so i'm unable to give you a clear walk thru so please bear with me.... open up flstuio than click on options in there you should see either "settings" and a few options like "midi" "audio" "file" and I think "general". click on midi, than another screen should open. there you should see your output options and input options, this is when you select what midi controllers you want to use, if you installed the sofware correctly it will show what controllers are available to you in the "Input" box if it's not shown you should see something like "Usb controller 1 or Usb controller 2" or something like that and it may be a generic controller. click on which ever one than click on enable, than click on "Auto accept controller". after doing that close the window and hit a key or pad on your controller and it should fix the problem. also IMO i would manually install the drivers with the software disc just to make sure it works correctly. any other problems pm me.

Ok check this out, I reinstalled the driver for both and now they both are working, my next question...Is there any way of getting my setup to remember its settings, in other words, is there a way of setting them both up so after I restart my pc, they will have the same settings? Right now im having to setup everything each time.

U can use the UC33e and a midi keyboard at the same time. I use the UC33 to control anything in FL Studio from controlling the mixer to muting channels and creating automations. I find the UC33 useful for arranging sounds as you record a automation clip. One of the best features in FL is the ability to assign every knob, fader or button.
