interviews on the main page????

wtf?? who are these people? are they members? are they people in the industry? who gets to decide on who gets an interview? (besides the beat this or battle that winners) im just curious coz i see a lot of cats that i dont even see on these boards. that interview that BigD did with Kev Brown should have been on the front page. i was just wondering though. maybe i can get an interview! ahaahahahaha! jp

Interviews

Well, we - the mods - decide on who gets an interview and who doesn't. Interviews are being conducted with people we know personally, people whose artistry we appreciate, people who deserve a spot, people who have contributed to IllMuzik in one way or another and the list goes on.

Not all the interviewees are IllMuzik members, and that's not a top priority criteria when choosing an interviewee.

I aint gonna back homie up, but i know who he is and hes actually pretty dope none the less. Ive heard trax done by him in the past and hes got skills, hes no one from illmuzik, just someone making an underground buzz thats been around for a while. whoa!!! is that how it goes????? what if they're people the members dont know about? (like the latest dude) coz i mean, what good is reading about somebody who we have not even heard about? i personally would rather read an interview with DESERVING members from the illmuzik fam. People who are here helping other members and who CONTRIBUTE to illmuzik. what did this guy do for the site???? and why does he deserve a spot??? this answer definitely doesnt answer my question. And plus i agree with my fellow members on here that this dude was a bit cocky. wtf is up with the gas mask?

Yea I agree as long as the Interview is Interesting thats all that matters but with that said I think any Illmuzik member that interviews someone should be allowed a chance to have it on the front page if its a good Read .

Actually Wings got it wrong - we DO give priority to members. Most of the interview are of members, but once in a while we throw in random ones like Juice, Mab's, Ivolola, etc.

Everyone chill and just enjoy the interviews. If you don't like a certain one, don't read it.
