Is there any place where I can hear tracking and mix examples?

For instance simple audio clips that seasoned and experienced mix engineers would label as being tinny or bassy or clipped or whatever I cant even imagine because my ears are only slightly above consumer level still...
Kinda like flash cards for aspiring producers...

Does such a thing exist?
I haven't had much luck searching for it...

Not sure if something like that is out there
But then, the internet is VAST

There are some online courses that help you train your ears, but it's not something you'll get right away. It'll take quite some time before your ears become that sensitive, not to mention even the most sensitive ears are subject to suggestion.

If you at least have a basic idea of what a tinny sound vs a muddy sound would be, it shouldn't be long before you recognize it.

I cosign with lion...I had saved a link on a tutorial where this top engineer was giving a seminar on everything from mic'ing each instrument to actually tracking out everything and I can't find it for the life of me. I'll continue to look for it though.
