Neither one is putting a penny in my pocket so I really could careless who out sells who.

My concern before the thread went down hill was this.

It's undeniable that both these guys albums are slatted to be the biggest hip hop albums of this year. If Kanye becomes the face of hip hop (which he is whether anybody wants to admit it or not, not too many others are selling records) what affect is this going to have on hip hop? How big of a blow will that be to hip hop especially in the state that it's already in? I'm not saying Fif being the face of hip hop is any better, neither is a good look, but both will without a doubt affect hip hop. How is it going to look to go from one extreme to the other?

You can laugh and make snide remarks all you want but this shit doesn't bode well for hip hop. I hope dude is not gay ,but if it turns out to be true and he admits it, laugh when the media takes it and continues it's unslaught on hip hop!

I def feel where your coming from on that and I dont disagree, but....look at the artform now....Hip Hop is not the same as Rap and Rap is Gay and I'm not saying kanye is not Hip Hop but I also could care less if he's gay same goes for fifty and anyone else, but you have to take it for what it is....these dudes ARE living up to an image and if it meens being a F.F.O.T.L.F. (Flamboyant Flamin On The Low Fag) than them dudes are gonna do that. Especially if the are caking off of what they do. Shit if tommorows next fad was thug cats modeling in drag than best believe 85% of these cats would be doing it. take a look at N.Y. and to Downsouth, N.Y. are all over the south's nuts when it come to rhyming and that my friend is Gay.

Personally I do care about Hip Hop and the fucked up state that its in and its cool if we disagree on different views thats a great thing but, cats nowadays only look at Hip Hop from a business standpoint and what type of shock value and how much $ they can get for doing certain things. Now if women are saying certain rappers or dudes for that matter are gay, 95% of the time it comes out to be true. When it comes to Hip Hop and Rap its the same formula. It'll be funnie to see what may happen when dudes like that or if dudes like that ever come out the closet. Will it ever be accepted in Hip Hop? I guess that would be the day that Fiddy and Ja do a Duet over a Nitty beat with T Pain on the hook. I say that to tell you just keep doing what you do to help Hip Hop not turn into something that it shouldnt be but dudes are already saying suspect shit in their versus (Lil Wayne 101), tho im not gonna wrack my brain and lose sleep over a rapper's gayness.
