I have officially switched from Sonic Foundry(ACID) to Live. I like it because it's (1) different and (2) I like the feel of the Session view of the program. And also it seems to run much smoother with my system.

Have any of you guys switched or considered ditching the program you currently use?

Yeah I've thought about switching programs, but the problem with that is you have to adjust to the new features and different shortcuts for new software, you stick with one thing, and your guarunteed to get better with it, thats my view on it. But of course if there is something thats limiting you, you dont really have a choice.

I didn't even switch from fruity loops 3.51 to fruity loops 4.
I switched a lot in the past.
I even made beats by cutting and pasting in soundforge but now I got the set up I can read and write with so why change a winning team?
it's like mr. messenger said it does everything I need and more so...
but I try out different things though.
I got reason for about 2 months now, but did not even install it yet.
I will try it out.
good luck with live (I don't know it either, maybe you could drop a link for the people to check it out)
