You guys won. You have won in the last five years (last year to be exact). We have not. We have been beat by teams with tiny payrolls. Cause they are better teams. And they are not just a bunch of rich celebrities playing for themselves. I sat there in 2003 when the Marlins won the series in the Bronx. They had a 30 million dollar team and they beat our ass down. So it's not all about the monrey.
Second, get over it. Love your team, don't get too attached to your player feeling the same way though. You gotta respect the talent and the skill and the realness some of these cats have.
If Jeter or Matsui would ever go to Boston, I would still think of them in the highest possible regards, they are great players. However, I would still hate the Red Sox.
So, in closing, Merry Christmas and thanks for the center fielder.

Now see....you just proved my point....Pedro is (was...we'll see how he does this year...they said his TOE hurts..lol) a great pitcher....so why would the Red Sox let the guy who has been their ace for sooo long....and helped them win their first Series in 86 years go??? You talk about LOYALTY??? I personally feel like the Red Sox have none...
You mean to tell me that if Damon was really the Heart of your team...he isn't worth that 4th year??? That's the difference between the Yankees and the Red Sox....when we had our run in the late 90's and 2000....we did it mostly w/ homegrown players...

pedro is a great pitcher, and he will forever be my favorite pitcher, til lthe day i die. he left boston for an extra year and an extra 5 mil to a team that has no fuckin chance in hell of winning a world series in the next 5 years .but, i would never hate on pedro,he joined a wack team in hopes of breathing new life into it possibly doing sumthing in the future,and making his legacy even stronger. hes a classy guy and he shut the door on the yanks so ill forever respect him. as for damon, the pussy and Agents tell him what to do.he denied a good amount of money to stay in a place where he was basically the face of a city. to go to a place where hed have to change his whole identity and be just another man on a roster. dudes a SELLOUTBenny BuKu said:
