how do i connect tha JUNO-D Synthesizer to reason .. i have an tascam us-428

on JUNO-D Synthesizer i connect MIDI OUT --> TO MIDI IN ON TASCAM PORT 1
MIDI IN --> TO MIDI OUT ON TASCAM PORT 1

REASON WONT READ MY DATA ON JUNO-D Synthesizer { I CANT HEAR ANY SOUND}

IS THERE A SETUP { PERFERENCE} I GOTTA DO IN REASON

ASAP

EDIT-------- ok i got it to read in reason but now i cant record sound i can hear sound but when i record it wont

sounds like the same problem that i'm having right now i can play sounds on redrum with my keyboard but it wont record what i hit

yo i got it to work

Teknology u gotta go to PERFERENCE go to control urface and keyboards then click ADD then u add a new midi keyboard then u tell reason where is your MIDI input coming from

i got and tascam 428 and i had my keyboard hook up to MIDI port 1

i did all that, i could play sounds on reason with the keyboard but it wont record what i hit another thing say in the sequncer i have just drums for 4 bars then i bring in an effect or instrument for 4 more bars it plays it the way i have it laid out in reason but when i export it as a song it plays everything all at once
