i like it, but i dont... its very, uh, "neptunian".... for lack of a better term. i do hate the asnare sound they used... the hook is some wierd, mumbling type rhyme... its wierd. anyone else hear it?

^^^^word. i noticed on Phrenology they started to do a bit of wack shit with their beats. like a shitty attemp at a techno tune and lots of simple keyboard beats. the kind of shit that would apeal to more cunts.

For real man...i really hope they don't convert to the new style of making beats, they have been pretty much my favorite group for a long time because of the fact that they write an play all their own shit.

Native Tongues made attempts at house music too, and it's just one track, so that doesn't really bother me, nor do I think that they have changed their style as such to suit themselves to the mainstream. The Seed hit radio but it's not really pop and it's a good song...I like their diversity and appreciate all their albums.
I haven't heard their new shit though...what's the name of it?

I hope they don't get on that mainstream tip I have all they're albums and was real dissapointed with their last one. I don't really think they're gonna gain a new fan base by trying to go mainsteam and they're losing all the real Roots fans who fucked with them before they got popular. It would be cool if that's really what they wanted to do but it seems like they're tryna do what's popular. They need to go back to DoYou Want More type shit if this album's gonna be like thae last I don't wanna buy it.
