logic 5.0/mpc2000xl help

Well ive tried readin the manuals I still am and cant find what im look'n for.Ok basically i sequece on my mpc and record in logic what i want to do is have the midi track(s) assigned to certain virtual intstruments in logic so i can have EX.mpc midi track1 control strings in logic and mpc midi track 2 control piano in logic etc. I thought it was as simple as setting the channels but there must be some other setting i need to mess with. Any help will be very much appreciated.Right now all midi goes to whatever instrument is highlighted.

Thanks to whoever moved this thread i wasnt sure where to put it.Does anybody know what i need to do? or have an idea of where i can go to find out?

I've have one mpc setup in midi thru modus, directly from the dsp's midi I/O. In that all midi can be recorded onto the mpc while arranged in Logic. The point to this is that I can use the midi gear remotely from Logic, think of purposes like live performance but also the option to produce from the mpc alone and then edit in Logic, or both.

Read up on www.mpc2000XL.com , its in the FAQ, I've also posted it a few times so you should be able to read back the topics.
