leaning towards the SSL or the x73i, as I like the sound of the SSL 4000 I use at my school, and I love the 1073 sound for vocals... LOVE IT. Which one ya'll think I should fuck wit

You would like any of those, but if it was me I would get the Vintech. BTW who is your guy at SW? If you dont have one I can hook you up.

I agree, heavily learning towards the Vintech... but have you heard of the golden age pre73's? Also, been a while since I"ve ordered from sweetwater, can't remember who it was. ha ha, I dont work at Sweetwater anymore buy my friend Luke will hook you up with the Illmuzik discount. Make sure you talk to LUKE and tell him you are from Ill and that Chris Scheidies sent you over. And yea I have heard about every pre at this point and honestly they all rock. But if you put a gun to my head and made me pick it would be vintech, freak amazing units.
