Midi controllers in FL

Can someone hel me figure out how to route the knobs and sliders of my M-Audio Pro 88 Midi Controller to FL... What does that do? Can it control volume, FX, the mixer, etc..etc?? If so how do I do it please? I know this probably has come up before in a thread but I can't find it in a post...

Also, to get my response time perfect between my midi controller and my computer should I get an Audio Interface?

Right click on the parameter that you want to control(knob, slider, etc). Go to 'Link to controller' and move the knob or slider on your MIDI controller.

u can't theres actually no way to do that unless u actualy have an akai mpd24 or a play and pause button on your keyboard

lol, im sure theres some way it works, otherwise why would they have it on the board?
there was a site that showed how to set up transport controls for the axiom, not really sure if it would apply to any m audio controller or not though
