Motif Es Rack

i would like to know ...... why is my motif es rack freezing up when i am trying to use the USB connection.......i would like to use it in the usb in and out mode for midi....can someone tell me what i am doing wrong......i have sonar 4 pe with a p4 2.8 computer setup.....can someone tell me if they have had this problem or how to fix what i am going through

install the drivers that came with the rack and install the software too

i did that ..... but when i record on one channel it wont playback what i recorded....then when i try to change the channel on the motif i cant because the entire module has frozen and i have to turn it off and then turn it back on

I don't think the USB connection can record any sounds coming from the motif... it just sends signals back and forth so u can transmit data. Check if your output is connected to your computer's soundcard and make sure you selected the correct sound card input when you're tryin to record

There should be two usb ports on the back of the motif one is for data and the other is for midi, are you sure you have it pluged into the right port.
