MPC 1000 Examples

Alright, my time is limited, so I've having a hard time getting to the music shop to test drive the MPC 1000.

I have been able to play w/ a Korg Electribe ESX, though.

I'm trying to determine what I need to pick up - I will be demoing the MPC 1000 soon, but I know that I won't even begin to scratch the surface.

Can any of you post some links to tracks that you have created with the MPC 1000? I want to see where I can go with this. The electribe is cool, but seems oriented to the dance scene. I'm more interested in hip-hop.

I could post what i did, buts not a way of where you can go with the machine. You can dig anything otta machine, buts all depending on how you like to work. anyways

Actually, depending on what you use with the MPC, you're beat will sound different. It all depends on:

-Your setup
-Your talent
-The work you put into making beats...

Sygma - I dig your beats. If you don't mind me asking, what gear did you use to produce "Grafik's Sample Remixed"? Is this a 1000?

korgs are pretty cool, theres a lot of gay homosexual laser gun type spacey sounds on it, but besides that, its also a sampler, and you know what samplers can do.....
