mpc 1000 mmc

does anyone know how I can make my mpc mmc wrk in cubase so that it dosent record on the mpc soo I can use my mpc 1000 to control the cubase transport controls instead of recording in the mpc cause I hate sequencing in the Mpc 1000 sum of u like but I dont its preference, but I was wondering if there was a way to set it up soo wenI hit record on the mpc it only records in cubse instead of the mpc, jus wondering if its possible? This Is For All You Mpc Pros lol

oo ok but will the mpc still record, cause I dont want the mpc to record itself I want it to control cubase cause like I said I hate sequencing in the mpc????
