mpc+triton question

i have a triton connected to my mpc2kxl thru midi,heres the problem,when i sample into the triton and press record on the mpc and play the sample on the triton keys the mpc dosnt record what i played

any help appreciated

because the mpc can't record audio.. i mean u can if u sample it on the MPC then u need to put audio out ( triton ) to audio in MPC and then select Shift 4 for sampling and record the sound.. and later on u can add that to your beat ..

But u can't play the beat u made with the MPC and record it on the MPC also, then u need a outside recorder or a pc to record the audio, so basically i suggest u use a computer with Cubase or Logic on it for recording..

Are u wanting to use your Triton for bass, snyths, ect...? If so try this

Connections:
MPC MIDI OUT to Triton MIDI IN
Triton MIDI OUT to MPC MIDI IN

MPC:
Turn DRUM to MIDI
Set channel to 1A or 1B depending on what channel(instrument in the Triton) u are using in the Triton.

Triton:
Turn Local Control OFF
Make sure its in Multi Mode

Now Example
Triton-Bass is on Channel 1
Triton-Guitar is on Channel 2

MPC-Track 1 should be MIDI:1A or 1B
MPC-Track 2 should be MIDI:2A or 2B

NOW WILL THIS WORK WITH THE 2500 TOO?
OK CAPS PROBLEM THERE BUT THE ? REMAINS.
I want to be able to use the drum sounds in my MPC2500, but I want all the keys(Triton sounds) to sync to what ever beats Im using in the MPC.
Is there a link to DUH this is how you midi(This paticular items) together to use as one instrument?

Yeah... thru midi u can do this.. just press shift 9 to sync both to each other.. so the triton will be synced to the triton..

Then u'll be good..
