MPC Upgrade

PEACE.
I just wanted to share some of my experiences. Now most of you are already tuned in here, but some of us, I used to be one of them, isn't.

I've been messing around with my MPC1000. And right now, other than an xbox/ps2 to sample cd's from, mono right now, and a 8bus board, I have no other capabilities. Some of you know that I can't utilize USB right now. I am totally sample-based right now, cause I don't have any VST's or Synth Modules, rack nor board based.

To get to the point, what I'm saying is when I first got the MPC I was like, duh... I don't need more memory. 16MB is enough. WRONG was I. The reason being, I work on 3 or 4 projects at a time. I don't want to have to load all my stuff each time, so I just save and leave it on. Anybody that doesn't have the 128MB mem upgrade, GET IT. I don't even have it yet and I'm patronizing it. USB won't help here. Memory goes fast when chopping multiple samples. Now usb would help here, cause then I could chop the sample in an editor, but that's another topic. To sum it up, get the mem upgrade. To MPC1000 prospects, I believe if you buy the 1000 now, you can get the mem upgrade free.

P.S. I do have some unresolved issues I'm sure the elders could help me with. If you have time, either seach for my posts, or pm me. Thanx.
