Oxygen 8/Reason 2.5 PROBLEMS

I cant figure out how to get sound into the Oxygen. I downloaded the software and Reason recognizes the midi controller but i dont know how to use it or get sound into it. All i basically wanna use it for is basslines, melodies, ect... Any help is Appreciated. And could you also make drum patterns with Oxygen to the ReDrum?

have u gone into your preferences and selected it as your midi controller? and make sure its turned on before u load reason up.

Thank bra it works, and i appreciate it. But i cant figure out how to record it into the sequencer? I have the track highlighted with the symbol on the right, press record then play but its not workin. Whats the problem? Any help appreciated.

are u gettin any sounds at all when u press the keys? play with the octave up/down function until u get some sounds on your keys

Yea im getting sound, but when i try and play a melody it doesnt record to the sequencer?
