I give you props for, one, having T-shirts you can actually buy on your site. Dont know if you've sold any but its a good ass 'entre-po-noor' idea. Gotta make that money.

The cartoon........eehhhhhhh. Ive seen better. 'A' for effort hehe.

Im not really feelin the designs either meng. As a fellow designer/cartoonist I'd have to pass on the character design and overall visual style you're coming across with. It doesnt really say 'Hip-Hop' to me. Which I'm assuming is the whole idea of the site. I wish you were in Miami so we could work together. I love the concept and the actual site is tight. The navigation is straight forward (except for the portfolio section) and the news and stuff is good. Flash is not an easy program to use. I've been at it for 5 years almost and I still dont have it all figured out my damn self. Keep at it yo, if you need any tips on Flash or anything gimme a holla. I'll be glad to help in what I can. One.

thanks for the input--my site was really all shirts, i just decided to add hip hop news and stuff to promote traffic and help support local hip hop, and your right about the portfolio section it was an early idea that hasnt changed with the rest of the sight--as soon as i get a lil more time im gonna fix that-but i have a question for ya-im interested in recording voices and such for future animations-whats a good program to use for that? and also whats the best type of sound file to use for flash?--appreciate the feedback-peace

Well really any program that records audio will do. Even Sound Recorder hehe. The best one for me has been Cool Edit. Check out downloads.com and find one that suits you. As far as sounds for Flash....what I do is import an mp3 or wav (in Flash MX) then in the library i double click it and choose mp3 as the compression, best as the quality, and then play around with the bit rate to see which one sounds decent. The less bit rate, the smaller your file size will be, but the less quality you'll get from ur sound. I used to be anal about it and go for the higher quality but at the end of the day smaller file size wins by a long shot. Nobody wants to wait five years to see a short cartoon lol. I ended up going back and modifying ALL my sounds for the animations on my site. I was surprised to see how many were still effective at 16kbps.
