Is it just me or is Bun B/UGK not even all that amazing. Don't get me wrong they're cool and if they on the radio I'd turn it up. Hell, I'd take the CD as a present. But I don't see them as anything really amazing, noteworthy, or $15 worth.

don't want to get into an argument about this, but yes ugk is amazing, especially if u from the south. hell, even jigga said its his favorite group of all time. Just listen to Murda and you will have new respect for them, especially bun b as a lyricist. Or u can check out wood wheel. some artists just capture the essence of the lifestyle and culture of a region and thats what they excell at. I'm SURE there will be others responding.....and yes the pimp is on the loose baby!

I'm not saying they ain't good but I mean they aren't anybody I really feel legendary. I mean 10 to 20 years from now do you all really believe people will be like:

"Man, what you think some of the greatest and most lyrical groups of all time in Hip-Hop"

"Oh ok, umm Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang, Run DMC, Slum Village, oh and UGK"

I just don't see it happening. Don't get me wrong, they're good, they make good music, but they ain't legendary or anything.
