Plies Sued Over 2006 Shooting

Five victims of a 2006 Gainesville, Florida shooting are suing rapper Plies, along with his record label.

According to the Miami Herald, the suit, which was filed on Wednesday (March 3) in Alachua County Circuit Court, claims that Plies and his label have profited from the victims' suffering.

Plies was previously sued over the incident, in which members of his entourage allegedly fired into a sold-out crowd.

The rapper's brother, Ronell Lavatte, and a member of the entourage, Tory Carnegie, are said to have fired into the crowd. The two were charged with attempted murder. Levatte served three years in prison after pleading no contest to weapons charges

I'm a little confused as to when it said he was previously sued over the incident? So this is the second time for the same incident?

Yeah Im guessing that each individual hit in the gunfire can sue him seperately. So maybe one lawsuit has already takened place. Just my guess.

It's a matter of preference to not get caught up on the "who's who" of a genre of music I can't artistically appreciate.

Probably the greatest question I've heard in my years as a member...




Plies is a Florida-based rapper who've I heard is actually really good...but his radio music sucks huge balls....I haven't heard any of his "good stuff"...I don't think he's that great of a mainstream artist..

Then again...I can't say much because we're working on placements for him as we speak....lol..
