Got the sad vibe down, nice. I like the drums however there is some distortion between the kick and bass I can here. I've recently took some advice from @2GooD Productions on using a Mother Ducker (Side-Chaining) to duck certain aspects out which i think would work nicely here.
Other than that I really like the beat, nice one!

Very smooth beat. I like it. I feel that the drums have too little presence in the frequency midrange. Might replace the highpitched trapsnare with a rimshot. Nevertheless, a great beat. Keep it up.

I actually like the drum sound selection. I think the drums are less prominent than they could be, but it works for me. But then again these other guys have a better ear for mixes than I do. haha. great work man

Do you have any recommended videos or articles on this? Is it like using a bus channel for reverb/delay but instead a low pass or EQ bus?

I could see the percs and higher frequencies toned down a bit to bring more focus on the melody, and having a singer/rapper combo on this. Solid beat, good work.
