Anyone trying anything new and off the wall at all at the mo...? me im gunna try and produce a few tracks in the style of DOOM and Shadow in the same mix, DIRTY synths vs nice soundscapes and samples, great.... i can feel it not working, but hey watch this space...(well the next showcase...)

right now: working on a full-length conceptish album that's going to include multiple emcees/singers, a wide pallette of moods and styles (but all basically with hip-hop as the basis), tons of live instrumentaion and collaboration, and somewhat of a story (complete with "skits").... whether or not it's going to end up sounding any good, well, we'll wait and see (it's still in it's infancy).

I've been trying to do that for a while now, combine hip hop with raw synth's and I'm loving it.
I even remixed some trance for people and it turns out nice (in my opinion).
I look at it from a hip hop point of view so you get something original for these house guys.
I love to merge these styles.
