Question regarding Virus protecion.......

I have a second PC which I also use for production but I next to never run it on the net. It has Norton on however should it be uninstalled given that it uses up CPU usage in the background?

Put Microsoft Security Essentials on it and uninstall Norton, then make sure it stays updated when you do go online.

I have found Avira AntiVir a great bit of antivirus software, even the free version.
