I'm lookin to get better quality, and better software but i don't know exactly where to start, i mean i wanna get into beat production somthin fierce. But as far as making beats, chopping samples as software goes. I don't know exactly where to start, could someone please help a fam. out i have no idea where to start, or where to leave off.. I have tons of nice drum kits from modern beats i orderd, and i got Drum Kit From Hell. But, my newb ass can't imagine where to start the beat, the neccessities on what exactly a beat needs, and how much is to much. So, please gimme some feedback, i'll take all i can get.

My software includes.. Reason 3.0.4, and Adobe Audition.. Now my question again, is what would you recomend that's a bit better or easier? Cubase, or Reason? Because i noticed that with Cubase, it has several VST Plugins, but with reason it has a nice seaquencer, and refills. So, What should i use to Chop, Record, and make beats with? :help:
?

k, i take it you have pretty much 0% experience i mean if you've got reason 3 and adobe audition ( i use both these programs ) then thats a good start, if you can then invest in a little midi controller, it will be a lot easier to play stuff into reason tho its not a neccessity ! basically if your guna use sample chop them up in adobe using the wav editor ! then yo ucan import them into reason using the nn19 or nnxt samplers in reason ! all other sounds you can find in reason either in the synths or by using your drum samples in the reason redrum !

i can't stand cubase but thats just my opinion !
