quick mpc1000 midi question

can i trigger a sample from the mpc on my midi board and have the sample pitched across all 61 keys .instead of only havin the 16 levels on the pads .

Yeah i have the mpc 2000xl and what u do is do an auto chromatic assign to the midi controller.

I have a 1k, but I've never tried, the 16 levels are good enough for me...plus I use FL also...I'm just trying to figure out how to track my mpc stuff out...Cubase might help, but it crashes whenever I launch it...
