Recycle is tellin me that it wants to have a sampler installed, this confuses me because I thought that Recycle was a sampling program, I was also wanderin if the Dr.Rex loop player or NNxt in Reson can be the sampler or do I have to use an external sampler. The other thing that confuses me is if it can read a akai sampler then why is it that it cant read AKP files? :headbang:

thanx in advance.

recycle tries to detect a sampler on first load.
just choose to continue without setting a sampler.
the Dr.Rex loop player \ NNxt in reason can be used to load .rx2 files (recycle 2 fomat).
recycle only supports EXPORT of AKP (Akai S5000 and S6000 program files).

Hey guys just got recycle .
I figured how to slice the samples and every thing and how to save em and load em in reason as rex files. My question is how do I get the sample to sync wit the beat playin. In the documentation it says that the loop (played from the dr rex (of a sample I sampled) is supposed to auto sync wit the beat . But it isn't doing it. Is there a setting or some thing im over looking. Any tips and or techniques to make the sample fit and sync with the beat. I tried loading the samples in the nnxt and dr rex messed with the pitch every thing trigered it on time it stikll won't sync.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if it can sync with the BPM via the NN-XT, but on the Dr. Rex you just press "to track", and then it syncs with the BPM...

As far as I'm aware, all apart from the Subtractor and Malstrom can play .rex files, it's just only the Dr. Rex that keeps all the information you added in ReCycle, the remainder just plays it as a normal .wav file.

Yeah I did that and it still won't sync.

Oh and I recently noticed a tempo knob in the control panel in recycle that I never noticed b4
I put that to the tempo of the beat. Imported that into the dr rex in reason which displayed the same bpm as the beat (95bpm) pressed the "to track" button and it still don't fully sync with the beat.

in an attempt to eliminate the problem, try loading one of the rex files from the reason soundbanks, and then press "to track". If that works, then we know it's something in ReCycle that's the problem.
