REWIRE CUBASE & REASON!! PLZ HELP

I can't seem to be able to rewire Reason to Cubase SX! I've searched the web with a fine comb for all the tutorials and Ive followed all of them but I can't seem to get it working.

I followed the directions on Reason's website on how to hook it up, and done everything how they said but when i pressed play in Cubase i couldnt hear anything.

I either don't know how to connect it, or I dont know how to play it. Once I connect them both up, is there anything else I have to do to get Reason's instruments to play in Cubase or do i just simply press play and it should sound automatically.

Can anyone please help, this is frustrating the hell out of me how there isnt a detailed tutorial on the web, how did u rewire yours and how do i play the tracks once it is connected.

Ok, I guess you know that you have to start Cubase up first, then Reason. When you do that, where it says which soundcard you're using, does the rewire LED light up?

I don't know exactly how Cubase works, but generally, you have to make a input track in cubase, choose Reason as insert and that's it. You can either choose to import the whole Reason Beat via the mixer, or leave out the mixer in Reason and assign each instrument in the back of the midi in device...and then assign each track in Cubase.

1. start cubase before reason.
2 start reason
3like copenhagen said, the rewire lead at the top of your reason rack should be lighten up.
3. In cubase, get the reason window.
4. active the rewire channels tou need
5. stop pulling your hear.

Yo if you have reason /and or cubase you have the directions son. Well anyway open cubase then reason . in the cubase transport menu on top of screen GO TO DEVICES/ THEN GO TO MENU YOU WILL SEE A CATALOG OF CHOICES CHOOSE THE ONE THAT SAY'S "REWIRE" CLICK THAT YOU WILL SEE "REASON" CHOOSE REASON . YOU HAVE TO SELECT THE CHANNELS FROM THE MENU. THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE REASON WITH CUBASE. ANY PROBLEMS HOLLA AND WE WILL WALK THRU IT SON. YA HEARD .GOOD LUCK!
