rewire ?

How do I get cubase sx3 to record my reasons drum when I rewire to cubase. I can hear the drums but when I hit record in cubase nothing happens I searched both manuals for the answer but all they explain is the rewire function not how to record when reason is in slave mode. Holla back

I know this is a basic question but if no one would like to answer it could you post a previous thread that explains how to record reason into the cubase sequencer. Yes I did a search in the threads with no luck. Appreaciate the help.

I don't use cubase I rewire to Sonar, but here is the article to rewire into Sonar hopefully some of the step are the same in cubase.

man its me again, i know its hard to grasp...i'm still trying to understand the same shit myself b/c i had to figure out the same thing with me rewiring to ableton live...Its kinda like you have to use them together all the time when u export them...i've been trying to figure out myself how u actually just record the AUDIO into the host program so that u can hear it without having to run it concurrently with the slave program...can anyone help us out with this or explain it better to us? I'd like to know too...

Yo bluchippa5 check out the tutorial the jbm posted it looks right I'm not at home to test it out to see if it works but it seems like the goods. Yea that's right I'm at work right now posted up on Illmuzik yeeeaaa boyeeeee.

it doesnt actually record it. just when you mix it down it combines them all together.
