im gunna be coppin a module in a few weeks gunna be my first one and im sure itll say this on like page one of the manual but i been curious about how u set this up,this is how i think it is , midi out of the keyboard into midi in of the module, midi out of the module into the midi in of the mpc, midi out of the mpc into the midi in of the keyboard,is that right?

p.s. can sum1 recomend a good module ,the ones ive narrowed down to getting SO FAR are the xv 5050 or the proteus 2000,

its pretty much like, say u use an old synth for the melodies on yur mpcs right ,you triger the keys and sounds off your synth with the mpc,in like 5-10 years or sumthin them sounds mightb e old and u want the triton sounds ,instead of buyin the whole board and payin all the extra loot for the sequencer and sampling capabilities ,which yur mpc can already do,u buy the triton module which is a rack mountable piece of equipment with all the sounds from the trtion in it,you hook it up to your old keyboard and you can trigger the korg triton sounds from your old rusty ass keyboard ,thats shits pretty ill, im still tryin to decide which one to cop

ohh true that. So u hook it up between ur MPC and ur MIDI keyboard?? How do u save your beats since its "outside" ur MPC?? I guess it just saves the MIDI information right??

Damn i may to get one of them. Im tired of trying to sample synth sounds all the time. So whats the best one??

LEt me know how yours works out casue i will proboly cop what u get lol!!!

Proteus 2500, cost something but is THE module of modules at the moment when talking capacity and quality. It's big too.

Something else, cheaper and very very good is the Kawai 5000 series ( synth, module and drummodule ).

First Off I Run My Trition Through My Rolland Jv80 Like A Module. I Ran The Midi Out Of The Rolland Straight To The Trition. The Only Differance I Do Is That I Have Not Set Up My Mpc To Change The Sounds In My Trition. I Have To Do It Manually. So When I Save A Beat I Just Write Down The Number Of The Sound On The Track Name In My Mpc.

I have the MP-7 linked up with a Proteus 1000 controlling it all from my MIDI controller and the PC with Sonar 3. It's an awsome lil setup too shawty! The Mo Phatt sounds tweaked with the Proteus are tight azz hell. Now all I need to do is expand them some more with some other Emu expansions. Also I need to save up some cash for a sampler. The software sampler ain't too hot from what I see.
