Good drums.

The rest reminds me (not in a bad way) of like a really commercial pop single for like a UK artist. Kinda jokey playful sounding. A lot of bright plasticy tones.

Definitelybe a good commercial grime release or something. Lady Leshur on it ha

@Iron Keys, thank you for your feedback...yeah i like that poppy sound..i like other styles too especially DARK TRAP...but i currently have this style..i call it Slap...you slap a bunch of sounds that go well together and that's all..haven't mastered yet..but i got time..lol

@2GooD Productions ironically i see a lot of people getting at you about the organ. I actually like the organ. I think it's one of the stronger pieces in it.

But i think when it's playing a lot of the other stuff should maybe take the background a bit more or be pulled out. Because they compete too much.

Listening into it i think it might be that eithet acoustic guitar string / epiano sounding melody causing a lot of issues.

I don't think you necessaril have to take much out, i think it's like maybe 1 instrument, or one more at another point that's causing that competition. I think if you find which, it'll all sit really nice.

Dope, was waiting for the bassline to drop and it certainly did. The beat is really interesting, the change ups keep it interesting throughout, the kick bangs and the bass is dope, love the slides. The synth you had at the start and end reminded me of some of my hip hop/edm crossovers. The drums are really nice, overall its a really dope beat, original and not generic. Good work.

Tbh, too much going on and some of the instruments are off-key; could've done better imo.

Here's mine

the drums sound okay, but that main melody gets repetitive very quickly, sounds a bit loud too. Sounds a little generic for my taste, nothing really sets it apart from other generic beats. Would like to hear more variation and changeups.

nice chilled vibe on this, not sure if the bass is just slightly too loud, or slightly muddy. Not listening in headphones though so cant be too sure. That reminds me, time to roll a j.

I know what they mean tho, i can't remember when or what... but at some point there sound like some harmonic conflict.

I dunno if something fell out of tune or if it's just dissonance. I find sometimes certain sounds can conflict. Especially if they have any additional harmonic detail to them.

its a combination of notes, and there is a part where the timing is a bit loose but I left it anyway. There are too many melodies playing at once is the problem, and like you said, its only one or maybe two melodies that arent working so well together, despite being in key. I had my melody and counter melody sorted, then went overboard with it, I knew I was doing it, but thought I was the grand maestro composer and could get away with it, I was wrong
I havent had a chance yet, but when I do I will go back to it with the headphones and sort it out.

Got a similar issue on a current thing im working on.

Made some nice counter melody. Listened to it next day. Sounds a bit competey. Played a new one that sounded fine. Also sounds competey haha.

It's not even up against another melody as such more of a half chord half melody track.

But I'm at that point i might just keep it if i can't rework it.

@berroni U didn't post any feedback but I'm gonna give you one anyway, just follow the rules next time please. I really like the melodies on this one, I just think you need better sounds. The Piano could sound much "clearer" and I think it's just because the sound isn't that great to begin with. The other sounds, like the one just before the hook, could use some EQing. I also like what you did to the drums, the bounce is really going but just like the melodies they could use some mixing. Look into parallel compression, it's helped me a lot to get my drums pop out of the mix.
