sp-303 problem

i just got 1 but dont have the manual ive seen roland has a super start w/e thing on there website but to get to the point i cant get it to sample!!,it says press sample untill it lit and pad 3 is lit but it doesent happen

Did you bought it used? If not you have to lift the sp303's memory protection. Turn on the thing holding [cancel].

Do you have a smart media card? If not you can't use bank C or D.

Did you check if you got memory left? hold [remain]*and you'll see.

I don't really have to ask if you have plugged something in the sp to feed it, did I?

Be shure to put the knob 3 not completely to the left (it's the recording level...).

i got it,its new and didnt bring a manual!!!....i was pissed but i searched n found out it was the whole protection thing u have tah do wit cancel...im taking this baby back to the store im not really feelin it production wise,good tho for dj'ing
