Still living in the early 90's?

I know this is gunna get me a slating, but it seems here people are stuck in the early 90s, and yes i know the best sh1t came out then , but still that is like over 10 yrs ago, as producers we should be looking forward and trying to create a new edge. Fair play, the drums will always be formulaic and similar, and scratching is v.important, but hey lets look forward and not back to the days of gansta rap...please

I hate to burst ya bubble, but we are still in the days of Gangsta rap. Think about it, whether its gangsta or thug its all the same(mainstream) In the early 90's mainstram was ill and dope! Then gangsta rap came out and now every MC is either a gangsta or thug! violence sells, I dont agree with it, but its just how it is!

i hear you Haze and im fully sick of this shit. to me it is like whining. There was good and wack Hiphop in the 90s and there is good and wack Hiphop now. The style of good shit has expanded. the wack shit hasnt expanded....thats why its wack. we are neva gonna go back to the 90s anyway so.....

find and listen to the good shit
bin the wack shit....then it wont sell and we wont need to address it.

we arnt in the days of gangsta rap. there is more conscious Hiphop out there than ever before and its only going to continue. we will take it back to the roots.....it will just take some time.

in 10 years time i think ppl will look back at now and say the same its always the way that there seems to have been much better music and artists yers ago ! sumtimes we need to appreciate modern artist more tho i do agree there is a load of shit about these days
