i'm new here of course and i find this site to be very imformative...before i just made beats neglecting mastering and all techniacl things, after encountering this site i gained a lot of knowledge in a week than i had in 3 years of producing. i'm an acid user and i have that down to a science..i'm ineterested in fruity loops but it seems too limited to me. does anyone have anything they did with fruty loops so i can see the potential the program has...and how come i can't post in the showcase forum?

also, there are SUPERB producers in this forum who use nothing but fruity loops. be sure to check 'em out!

You can do basically anything with Fruity Loops / FLStudio. Like my homie above me said, peep 9th Wonder (and some of the cats on this forum) for proof of that. Production is all about skills and creativity bro. If you do stick with FLStudio I recommend you do buy it so that you get the full version with the Liftetime upgrades as well as support.

If you decide not to go with FLStudio, Reason is also highly recommended.
