tutorials on choping samples???

is there any tutorials out there? i chop up my samples it just sometimes dont fit with my drums.maybe it just me not doing something right.

How do you expect it to fix if if it is not beatmatched.If cut a loop and import it
in your daw it will not fix unless what BPM it is.Most people will timestrench
them.

tru yeah i gotta keep at it. i know everyone does it different and i just gotta find my own way. there just mite be something i am missing to do. thanks for the input..

maybe it could be you not doing something different. there's many different ways to chop samples (as mentioned by the others before me) if anything, don't get stuck on chopping your samples one way, play with your chops try something different, make mistake, you just might stumble on something dope.

usually when i record my chops i set up a quick skeleton of a drum beat at least so i play the chops on beat with the song and even if i change the drums it will sound find as long as i don't fuck with the tempo.
