uncleared samples

has anybody of you ever had problems because of uncleared samples, or knows someone who did? i'd just be interested how deep the bigga labels are diggin for exploitation of poor underground cats.

Look it up, it's all over the news...well hip hop news at least...See copyright infringement isn't exactly measureable. I mean there's the amount that the person makes off the infringement, but then there's the harm done to the repuation and image of the person who's been stolen from...

However, Lil Flip is a mainstream artists with songs on the billboard charts. The general perception here is, that if your underground and don't move many units, then you're not of interest.

Lil flip went platinum underground... whats 1 mil times $8 that he probably sold sold his album for?... also, add in advance money, I believe both of his albums went platinum, ummm...publishing, endorsements, performances and appearances... and also add in drug money ( we all know he gotta have his hand somewhere) and you get well over 10mil... residuals are crazy if you play ya cards right...
