Vst Effects & Rewire/Reason

Hi-Lo

ILLIEN
ill o.g.
I'm having some trouble understanding how I can use Vst effects either in Reason itself or in FL (I use Rewire and sequence in Fl, not reason) on reason instruments. I searched the reason manual for vst and nothing came up, and what I can't figure out is that unlike other channel types in FL, midi out channels don't have that little number in the top right corner of the channel window where you can assign them to a mixer channel for effects.

how do i do this?

normaly u would do this with MULTIPLE OUTPUTS wich most VST Instruments support but the problem is the REWIRE channel from fl studio or REWIRE in generall dont support MULTIPLE OUTPUTS and that is a problem i doubt its possible.but maybe someone knows more about it.
iam interested myself into a solution.

to make it short.

rewire has only MIDI channels that u can controll.

fprget about vst in reason cant be done. in fl you have to go to the top menu and select
channel>add one>more and refresh your list and check off your vst

Vst effects

As we all know Reason does not support VST, well as far as I'm aware anyway. But what I do if I wanna add VST effects to my reason sounds is rewire reason to cubase and that seems to do the trick for me, not sure if that's what you were getting at in the first part of your post but just in case it helps.
