IIght look, I've been doing my MAJOR HOMEWORK, reading, tutorials, and all.

Finally, I'm ready to come up with some kinda ORIGINAL "Production Company" name, and I have been thinking but nothing comes up. I'm not tryina "moch" S.P at all. This is just me, and I'd really appricate it if someone, anyone, could help me out. With some kinda postive feedback on a name. I'm tryina go off my background, as in where I was raised up, and the type of music i'm striving to produce. Which is.. I was born n raised in the South(Born in TX, raised in AL), and I'm more on that Southern Heat type of beats. Not really Lil Jon, or nothin' wannabe. Just a lil bit of myself reppin' the homeland, ya dig?. Anyways, I have honestly been thinking this over for months now, I got my small ass studio, and my hardware is being shipped as we speak(mpc2500, M-Audio Active Studio Monitors, Radium 49e Midi Controller, Ion Audio ITTUSB Turntable, and my Alesis MultiMix 12FIREWIRE 12-Channel Mixer with Firewire), So i'd much appricate it if i could have some help with a name.

My 2nd question is this.. On SoundClick, how do you set it up so not every song is available for mp3 download?

Much Love Fam,
Burna.

i dont know about a name... i figure itll prolly come to you...

but i can help you on soundclick:

go to your administration page
go to song information (Under Songs)
go to edit song info for the song
then scroll down and uncheck "free mp3 download"

that should work.

it also asks you when you are uploading the song.

Stay Strapped Entertainment??? Or you could come up with a word that has a double meaning behind it, somewhat like Kanye's G.O.O.D--Getting Out Our Dreams.

stay strapped sounds played to me. and not appealing in a professional world.
same wit Down South.

but Deep South Entertainment is catchy and sounds orignal to me in a way because no ones ever really claimed the "deep south" kno what i mean. I also like Track Burnas ENT. that sounds hot

Just make sure your name claims what you do. If all you do is beats, then have it represent that. If all you do is mix, then have it represent that.

TrackBurnas is good because a client can assume that you "add fire" to tracks, or you "light tracks on fire" or that you just "make hot tracks". It's general, but make sure that it fits. Say you really want your client to know your style, and you think TrackBurnas is a little too general. You may want to do somethin like this:

1) DirtyBeats (I know anyone can come up with this one, but one would think that you make Dirty-South style beats) It's been used tho.
2) DirtPhire (hot, dirty sounds)
3) SouthernMud Productions (Like dirty south, only muddy I guess)
4) Dirty South Cleaning Company (You clean up tracks from the dirty south? ha)
5) CleanySouth Beats (just bein stupid at this point)
6) Texas Chainsaw Beats (I'm watchin the massacre as we speak)
7) Purdy South Beats (yer beats sure do have a Purrdy Mouth)
8) Sturdy South Productions (another pun off the dirty, but you're sturdy and reliable)
9) Melted Wax Productions (shit's so hot it burns vinyl)
10) Off The Train Productions (your train's off the track, and you're tracks are off the train... ok that's dumb, sorry)

If you specialized in something particular:

11) BeatSculptors (you specialize in sculpting beats around vocals)
12) A Cleaner South (you edit tracks and clean em up)
13) TripletBeats (Say all your beats were in 3/4)
14) ComeSpitit Productions, SpitSomethin Productions (If you got a nice mic and you just want to record people in the booth)
15) Dirty Beat Licensing (all you do is license beats out from the dirty south)
16) Dirty Specialist (you "specialize" in dirty south production)
17) Cheaper by the Dirty Dozen (sell 12 dirty beats for a good price)
18) Dirty and it's Stinkin (I know it's an O.D.B. song, but...)
19) Dirty Underwear Productions (you'd be the shit, literally)
20) Beat Fertilizers (what you make is the shit)

Ok, I'm done. Sorry for all the cheesy ones, but sometimes you gotta make a list of possibilities, even if they're corny. But sometimes it's the cheesy ones that people remember, cuz they stand out more.

Pce.

I wouldnt even worry about that if thats all you can find on them.
They may be makin noise somewhere but not on a level where my man cant register that name for his region.
I think its all about territory and who's makin more noise and playing.
There are books on that stuff.
Seriously if thats all there is thats nothing.
